Dolphus “Doc” Oliver, 94, Spruce Pine passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Russellville Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 05, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Lonnie Oldag. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Nora Oliver; and wives, Bessie Oliver, Jewell Oliver.
He is survived by one son, Larry Oliver and, wife, Margaret; grandchildren, Karen Gilbert and, husband, Dwight, Jill Harris and, husband, Gary, Carla Knight and, husband, Rodney; great-grandchildren, Lucas Gilbert, Drew Moses, Erin Gilbert, Justin Knight, Matt Moses, Olivia Knight; great-great-granddaughter, Ava Moses; and several nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Lucas Gilbert, Drew Moses, Matt Moses, Justin Knight, Ralph Thompson, and Gene Hamilton.
