Three arrested for manufacturing meth

A Marion County woman and two Winston County men were taken into custody Monday after purchasing items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, investigators said.

Russellville police department authorities said Rachel Michelle Peters, 28, 232 Marion 121, Hackleburg; Brian Keith Snider, 42, 340 Winston 479, Haleyville; and Jason Lee Hall, 37, 2801 12th Ave., Haleyville were arrested and charged with second-degree attempted manufacturing of a controlled substance.

Russellville investigator Lt. Scotty Lowery said patrol officers received some information from a local hardware store of some customers buying items used in the manufacturing process.

“Officers were able to locate the car and made a traffic stop,” he said. “During the search of the car, officers found the items purchased for manufacturing purposes.”

All three are being held in the Russellville City Jail.
