Lorene Harris

Lorene Champion Harris, 87, of Russellville, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Helen Keller Hospital. She attended Beulah Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Beulah Baptist Church with Bro. John Stancil and Bro. Roger Jones officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Smith and husband, Johnny; son, Terry Harris and wife, Shelby; sister Willodean Jones; brotehr, William A. Champion; grandchildren, Darryl Smith, Tammy Hamner and husband, Max, Jason Harris and wife, Tiffany, and Robyn Suddith; great-grandchildren, Courtney Smith, Nicholas Hamner, Brett Suddith, and Chelsea Suddith.

Ms. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde “Pete” Harris; son, Alan Hugh Harris, siblings, Geneva Harris, Gertha Yocum, and Thomas A. Champion.

The family extends special thanks to Theresa McCleese, Martha Carter, Debbie Coker, Helen Keller Hospital 4th floor nursing staff, and Good Samaritan Hospice.
