RHS football awards presented

The season-ending awards for the Russellville football team were presented last Friday during the football banquet.
Players chose each of the award winners.
Jessie Green and Jonas Boyles were selected as captains. Boyles also won the award for offensive lineman and Green won the linebacker award.
Mason Willis won the wide receiver award while Brent Calloway earned both the offensive back and Offensive Most Valuable Player awards.
Trent Brannon and Aaron Hollingsworth earned defensive linemen awards while Ryan Romans was won the defensive back award.
Green was named the Defensive MVP.
Jose Betancourt earned the special teams player award and Grant Hagedorn earned the practice player award.
Russellville had several players earn Iron Bunch honors, which is given to players who never missed a practice. The 21 players to win the award include Romans, Willis, Hagedorn, Green, Calloway, Boyles, Romono Craig, Darrian Graham, Jyran Darby, Anthony Cochran, Brandon Galloway, Tevin Cross, Caleb Sherrill, Aaron Gholston, Manuel Ramirez, Jackson Witt, Isaac Fleming, Daniel Hollimon, Tanner Steele, Juan Antonio Guerra and Jacob Seal.
