City, county school boards honored

The Russellville City Schools and Franklin County Schools are joining all the public school systems across the state to celebrate School Board Member Recognition Month and honor local board members for their commitment to the children of Franklin County.

Franklin County Schools Superintendent Gary Williams echoed those sentiments by thanking his elected school board members.
The members of the Russellville City Board of Education are president Greg Batchelor, vice-president Jerry Groce, Wanda Baker, Judy Pounders and Greg Trapp.
The Franklin County School Board members are chairperson Randy Hester, vice-chairperson T.J. Bragwell, Ralton Baker, Ralph Winchester and Billy Weeks.
