Larry Rex Robinson

Larry Rex Robinson, 66, passed away at his home in Russellville, Ala. on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009.
Funeral services were held Dec. 22, 2009 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Greg Pace, Bro. Delmer Duboise and Bro. Tony Villa. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He was the pastor of My Father’s House Church in Double Springs, Ala. He was a graduate of Russellville High School. After graduating high school, he served as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a pastor for the past twelve years. Larry was a loving husband, father, a devoted Granddad and a passionate pastor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Robinson; one sister Jeanette Johnson and husband, Loren; one brother, Bobby Robinson and wife, Jacqueline; five children, Tom Robinson, Rex Robinson and wife, Kristine, Philip Robinson, Shelia Smith, Ladana Kirkland and husband, Josh; nine grandchildren, Megan Robinson, Thomas Robinson, Justin Robinson, Seth Robinson, Katrina Helms, Katelynn Casewell, John-Myles Kirkland, Robin Kirkland, and Raven Kirkland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Robinson; mother, Leona Fisher Robinson; first wife, Avon Robinson; sisters, Tommie Lee Stevens, Francis L. Wagner, Alice Joyce Robinson; brothers, James A. Robinson, John Robinson and William “Jack” Robinson; and grandson, Joshua Caleb Casewell.
Pallbearers were Thomas Robinson, Mike Riner, Dennis Keeton, Gene Cooper, Rickey Corbell and Jerry Fortenberry. Honorary pallbearers were Dale Hood and James Sazbo.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Wiregrass Hospice and to Tracy Sparks, RN and Marqeta Lumen, Hospice Aid, for the care that was provided in the home. We would also like to thank Amanda Childers, RN and Greta Boutwell, Russellville Hospital, for the care and help that was provided. We would also like to thank all the friends and family that dropped by to offer support and strength during this difficult time in our lives. Your prayers and kindness do not go unnoticed.
Billy Mack Jenkins

Billy Mack Jenkins, 64, of Red Bay, Ala. passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2009 at his residence. He was born March 24, 1945 in Alabama to Grady Hobson and Mattie Cockrell Jenkins. He was a carpenter and construction worker for 45 years. He was a member of Calvary Family Worship Center for about 30 years.
Funeral services were held Dec. 21, 2009 at Calvary Family Worship Center with Bro. Gene Cooley officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Peggy Jenkins, of Red Bay; two children, Guy Wayne Jenkins and wife, Tina, of Golden, Miss. and Donna Roberts and husband, Scott, of Red Bay; four grandchildren, Brooklyn Jenkins, Kristin Roberts, Alicia Roberts and Lori Roberts; two sisters, Joan Fleming, of Columbus, Miss, and Frances Davis and husband, Curtis, of Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Grady Eugene Jenkins.
Pallbearers were Darrell Underwood, Larry Ivy, George Jordan, Chris Hall, Steve Reese and Phillip Collins.
Eva Dell Puckett

Eva Dell Puckett, 83, of Vina, Ala. passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at Russellville Hospital. She was born June 26, 1926 in Franklin County to Odell and Della Stanphill Brand. She was employed by Blue Bell and was a member of Five Points Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Dec. 22, 2009 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Gerald Ricketts officiating. Burial was in Sparks Chapel Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Roger Dale Puckett, of Vina; one brother, Chester Brand, of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kim Cothrum and husband, James, Monica McMicken and husband, Kevin, Eddie Puckett and wife, Jennifer, and David Goodman; three great-grandchildren, Jayla Puckett, Abigail McMicken and Jordan Puckett; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carney Puckett; two children, Roy Puckett and Linda Goodman; and her parents.
Pallbearers were Elzie Malone, Ricky Garrison, Joel Bolding, Harold McKinney, Larry Bailey, Bobby Puckett and Kevin McMicken.
William Robinson

William Robinson, Jr., 71, of Phil Campbell, Ala. passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at his home. He was born Feb. 13, 1938 in Morehouse, Mo. He was a retired from LaSalle and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Dec. 22, 2009 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell with Bro. Dennis Steward and Bro. Carl James officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Davis Robinson; children, Jeff Robinson, Alice Robinson and Mary Robinson; step-children, Janelle Davis and her husband, Quinton, Paula Patterson, and Crystal Fortner and her husband, Chris; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ines Robinson; first wife, Brenda Robinson; daughter, Gayle Marie Robinson; sister, Thelma Britton; and brother, Jim Robinson.
Margaret Wells Scott Carmack

Margaret Wells Scott Carmack, 92, Russellville, Ala. passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Brookwood Hospital.
Mrs. Carmack lived most of her life in Franklin County, but for the past three years in Birmingham. She was a member of Isbell United Methodist Church in Russellville. She was order of Eastern Star and volunteer at Russellville Hospital.
Funeral services were held December 22, 2009 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Leroy Tidwell officiating. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is survived by her brother, Paul Wells and wife, Peggy, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sisters, Grace Searcy, of Birmingham, Ala., Stacie Vanderver and husband, A. B., of Dothan, Ala.; sisters-in-law, Ann Wells, Jean Wells; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded death by husbands, Norman Scott and John Carmack; parents, Eugene and Annie Mae Wells; brothers, Cassie Wells and wife, Mabel, Gordon Wells, Thomas Wells.
