Use caution, be safe this winter

The first true cold snap has moved into the area this weekend and county residents are feeling it.
The heat is being turned on inside homes throughout the county and people are reaching for those extra blankets.
As winter moves in and the holiday decorating begins, it is important to follow safety rules and to always use caution.
There will be many instances over the next few months in each of our homes where we are in danger.
Fires can easily start from our sources of heat, our Christmas decorations and our baking.
We urge each of you to use caution and make this a safe winter in Franklin County.
