Leonard Clinton Alexander Jr., 77, of Phil Campbell, Ala., passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 at Russellville Hospital. He attended Tempble Baptist Church in Phil Campbell.
The visitation was held Saturday, Nov. 1. Funeral services are 2 p.m Sunday, Nov. 2 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville with Bro. Daryl Butts officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Alexander, Tony Alexander, Mike Allen, Jimmy Holley, Dewayne Mann and Jeremy Mann.
He is survived by his wife, Opal McDuffa Alexander; sister, Peggy Allen and husband John of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Pam Allison of Arkansas; brother-in-law, Hulton Lawler of Phil Campbell; nephews, Johnny Allen, Bobby Allen, Mike Allen, Phil Alexander and wife Christy and Tony Alexander, all of Arkansas; nieces, Brenda Mann and husband Dewayne and Janet Holley and husband Jimmy of Phil Campbell; and several great-nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Mizell; brother, Billy Charles Alexander; mother, Fatha Luttrell; father, Leonard Alexander Sr.; and nephew, Stevie Alexander.
