PC seeks elusive region win

PHIL CAMPBELL – Many activities require quite a bit of travel, including playing high school football.
Each team plays five road games each season, but Phil Campbell might feel like it has done a little more traveling than most squads.
The Bobcats are playing their fourth road game in the last five weeks tonight as they play at Cherokee.
Although a loss would eliminate Phil Campbell from playoff contention, a win by the Bobcats would put the Indians' playoff hopes on hold.
The win would also give the Bobcats their first region win since 2006.
Being on the road might by a blessing for Phil Campbell as the pressure of playing for a home crowd is not their. The Bobcats also ended their 15-game losing streak during their last road game.
Cherokee has a potent offense, so Phil Campbell will have to rely on its defense to help contain the Indians' multi-threat player Dominique Croom.
The Bobcats will turn to Seth Brown and Dillan Hamby to lead the defensive effort.
Brown leads the team with 40 tackles this season and Hamby leads the defense with two interceptions.
