Amy Marie Burleson, 80, of Haleyville passed away Aug. 18, 2008 at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton. She was a member of South Haleyville Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Aug. 21 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Michael Farris and Horace Corkren officiating. Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Burleson Dodd; brother, Odie Gilbert; sisters, Flois Gilbert and Clavis Comeens; grandchildren, Colby Lee Dodd, Deonna BreAnn Dodd, Dolton Dodd, Daniel Dodd and Steven Dodd; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Burleson; baby daughter, Wanda Gay Burleson; parents, Joe and Lessie Gilbert; brother, Lenos Gilbert; and sisters,Demis Causey and Lenus Rhodes.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
