Lucille S. Knight

Lucille Shillie Knight of Haleyville passed away July 24, 2008 at Lakeland Community Hospital.
She was born in Franklin County and was a retired beautician and a member of Ninth Avenue Church of Christ and Thornhill Church of Christ.
Services will be held Sunday, July 27 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and the funeral is at 2 p.m. in the chapel. The burial will follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Arvy Dupuy officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Clarkson of Haleyville; brother, James Garrett of Russellville; sister Beulah Wilson of Russellville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Lizzie Garrett; husbands, Joe Holliday and Barthel Knight; son Herman Boyd Knight; brothers, Travis, Royce, John and William Garrett; and sisters, Wilma Isbell, Claudia Blackburn and Gertrude Garrett.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville assisted the family.
