Roger Creekmore

Roger David Creekmore, age 52 of Knox, Ind., died Thursday, July 10, 2008 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center South Bend, Indiana. He was born March 15, 1956 in Red Bay to Vernon and Marie Barnes Creekmore and was a truck driver for 26 years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Deaton Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McCraney officiating. Burial was in the Red Bay City Cemetery.
Mr. Creekmore is survived by son, James Creekmore of Zion, Ill.; daughters, Candace Schonter (Justin) of Winthrop Harbor, Ill. and Katrina Sosa (Tony) of Kenosha, Wi.; father, Vernon Creekmore of Lexington, Tenn; brother, Jimmy Creekmore (Buffy) of Lexington; sister, Betty Benton (Rollin) of Waukegan, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.
Sidney Turbyfill

Sidney W. Turbyfill, age 80, of Vina, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield. He was born August 15, 1927 in Atwood to P.W. and Sarah Overton Turbyfill. He was an industrial mechanic and a member of Vina First Baptist Church. He was also a member of American Legion Post #165 in Hackleburg and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 18, 2008 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Swimmer officiating. Burial was in the Pilot Hill Cemetery in Vina.
Mr. Turbyfill is survived by wife, Eva Zane Turbyfill of Vina; sons, Bruce Turbyfill (Sharon) Crown Point, Ind. and Larry Turbyfill (Wendy) of Normal, Ill; stepson, Donnie Castleberry (Nora) of Beach Park, Ill; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the service included Paul Turbyfill, Ryan Turbyfill, Tony Turbyfill, Tony Pitts, Robert Moomaw, and David Castleberry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, and four sisters.
James Latham
July 17, 2008
James Dalton Latham, age 62, of Russellville, died Thursday, July 17, 2008.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Akins Funeral Home. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery.
Mr. Latham is survived by brothers, Johnny Bailey Latham (Carolyn), Jessie Wayne Latham (Vivian); sisters, Etta Alene Baker (Bobby), Fayrene Latham; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Sarah Etta Murphy Latham; brothers, Arlen Howard Latham, Fred O. Latham, Jerald Carl Latham; and sister, Shirley Ann Latham.
