Wreck claims one

PHIL CAMPBELL-A Russellville man was killed near Phil Campbell Sunday morning after losing control of his vehicle.
Alabama State Troopers said Jason Ergle, 25, of Russellville was killed when his vehicle crashed at 9:47 a.m., on Franklin 79, five miles east of Phil Campbell.
The accident was a one-vehicle accident, and no other injuries were reported, officials said.
Relatives believe Ergle was driving home from a friend's house when the wreck occurred.
Ergle returned home from serving in the U.S. Army and was employed by Pilgrim's Pride, where he worked the night shift.
Ergles' funeral will be held today at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. He leaves behind a son, Joseph Ergle of Chicago, Ill.; parents, Marvin and Jo Ann Ergle of Phil Campbell; along many other relatives in Franklin County.
