Russellville JV wins two team titles

FLORENCE – The Russellville High School junior varsity cheerleading squad won two team championships at the Universal Cheerleading Association summer camp hosted by the University of North Alabama June 24-27.
Russellville won overall championships in both home pom and cheer in the junior varsity division.
Abbie Bendall and Charity Terry were each named UCA All-Star Cheerleaders and will be invited to participate in the Magic Kingdom Thanksgiving Day parade at Disney World in Orlando Nov. 25-28.
Bendall and Terry performed an Xtreme dance routine, a camp cheer and a jump and were selected as All-Stars by a panel of UCA judges.
The Russellville squad, sponsored by Beth Gilmer, also includes Anna Burks, Molly Gaston, Alayna Groce and Kelsey Beth Nelms.
