Two arrested for stolen goods

Two Franklin County men have been charged with receiving stolen property after allegedly selling stolen items.
Sheriff Larry Plott said Kenneth Lee Moore, 44, of 177 Moore Lane in Phil Campbell, and Lewis Wayne Campbell, 26, of 554 Cedar Tree Street in Hackleburg, were both charged with second-degree receiving stolen property.
"The property was found to be from a residence in Hackleburg that had been burglarized," Plott said. "These two subjects then brought the property into Franklin County to dispose of it here."
Plott said approximately $5,000 worth of property was taken from the Hackleburg home. The items were returned to the owner.
Plott said Moore was released on a $5,000 bond in this case, and Campbell was held in custody because of a bond revocation.
