Chris Wade Baker, 42, of Phil Campbell, passed away on May 21, 2008, in an automobile accident.
Funeral services were held on May 25, 20008, with Bro. Mike Smith, Bro. David Motes and Bro. Dennis Chambers officiating. Burial was in Old Burleson Cemetery in Vina.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Frederick, Jimmy Moore, Daran Baker, Jeremy Baker, Owen Thompson, Randy Cooper, Doug Hallman and Darrell Baker.
Honorary pallbearers were Adam Baker, Bud Earl King, Eric Hallman, B.J. and Jonathon.
He is survived by his son, Austin Nathaniel Baker; parents, Virgle and Artie V. Baker; long-time girlfriend, Lisa Holcomb; brothers, Daran (Georgia) Baker, Tom (Cher) Baker; five nieces, one nephew and two great-nieces.
He was a man who loved life, enjoyed hunting, fishing, arts, crafts, reading his Bible and attending church. He loved to build things, draw with his son and just hang out with his son. He and his girlfriend enjoyed working in the garden with his parents.
One of his favorite past times was watching hummingbirds. He loved to joke around and was a friend to everyone. He will be missed by all.

Hazel Louise Michael, 89, of Moulton, died May 22, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Michael was a native of Franklin County and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services were held on May 25, 2008, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hope Well Cemetery on LaGrange Mounain.
She is survived by her son, Alvin Michael, of Moulton; daughter, Maylin Behel, of Jacksonville; sister, Annie Marie Scott, of Russellville; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ida Wright.
