Thursday Update: Local student awarded scholarship

Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) Alabama Division Student Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) recently awarded two scholarships.
Elizabeth Engelman of Russellville was selected as one of the recipients of the IAAP Scholarship. The scholarship is $500.00 and will be applied to her 2008-2009 academic year.
Engelman is received an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Office Administration this May. However, she plans to pursue an Associate in Science (AS) Degree in Business Administration at NW-SCC during the fall semester. Upon completion of her AS Degree, Engelman plans to transfer to the University of Alabama.
Two ($500.00) IAAP scholarships were available. The other scholarship was presented to a student from UNA.
The prospective scholarship recipients must meet the following minimum guidelines:

IAAP is a not-for-profit professional association with 40,000 members and affiliates and over 600 chapters worldwide.
