After months of waiting, Russellville's Desa Fmi will finally be showcased on national television Friday.
Crews from the Science Channel were in town last summer to film a five-minute segment that will be featured on "How It's Made," a popular program that shows how different products are made.
The show walks through the processes by which diverse everyday products, such as snowboards, motors and bubblegum are manufactured.
Each half-hour show has four main segments, with each product getting a demonstration of about five minutes.
The program, which also broadcasts on the Discovery Channel locally, will air at 8 p.m. Friday on the Science Channel.
Desa Fmi is a leading manufacturer of gas logs, mantels and gas inserts.
Russellville plant manager Sam Scarbrough said he has seen a rough cut of what will air Friday and company officials are pleased.
"We are very excited about it," he said.
"We are fortunate that they would come here to Russellville and film at our plant."
