Bobby Gene Malone, 73, of Russellville, passed away Jan. 11.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 14 at Pinkard Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, 10 children, 30 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara Smith

Barbara Smith, 64, of Russellville, passed away Jan. 9 at her home.
Funeral services were held Jan. 12 at Spry Memorial Chapel with burial following in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She is survived by daughter, Vanessa Smith; son, Dale Smith; granddaughters, Chelsea and Heather Smith; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hebert Ezra Brand and Barbara West Brand; sister, Cora Sue Jones.
Beverly Jean Hawkins

Beverly Jean Hawkins, 53, of Russellville, passed away Jan. 9 at Russellville Hospital.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel Monday, Jan. 14. The 2 p.m. funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Ric Chambless officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Hawkins; daughters, Ayieeshya Murphy, Barbra JoAnn Cramer, Beverly Jean Cramer, Sandy Hawkins and friends, Charles Bonds, Maxine Hawkins, Joleen Jansen; mother, Sandra Schmitt; step-mother, Betty Jansen; brother, Bill Jansen and wife, Diane; sisters, Kathy Whittles, Debbie Maqnuson; grandchildren, Zackary Murphy, Kaley Murphy, Jeffrey Murphy, Daniel Weaver, Tabatha Weaver, Cody Weaver, Diamond Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Jansen; sister, Maxine Jansen.
Earl Butler

Earl Butler, age 48, of Russellville, died January 10, 2008.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Akins Funeral Home in Russellville at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Massey officiating the service. Burial will be in the James Chapel Cemetery in Russellville.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Donna Butler of Russellville; sons, Jacoby Butler of Golden, Miss., and Justin Tatum of Florence; stepsons, Jessie Davis and Jamie Davis of Russellville; mother, Carolyn Beavers; sisters, Linda Sue Holden and husband, Larry. of Rogersville, Ala., and Jennifer Butler of Wichita, Kan.; brothers, Phillip Butler and husband, Cindy, of Rogersville; Joseph Springer and Kristy of Muscle Shoals; nephews, Terry Holder, Twain Holder, Jaden Springer; nieces, Harley Butler, Kassidy Springer, Kyleigh Springer; five great nieces; and one great nephew.
Pallbearers for the service will include Philip Butler, Joseph Springer, Jessie Davis, Jamie Davis, Larry Holden, and Twain Holden. Honorary Pallbearers will be co-workers.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
