Louie Carpenter

Louie (Bimbo) Burns Carpenter, age 54 of Phil Campbell, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Russellville Hospital. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and loved the outdoors along with working with heavy equipment.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial was in the Blue Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service included Ricky Gable, David O'Kelley, Rodney Motes, Matt Motes, and Mark Sartain.
He is survived by wife, Shirley Carpenter; daughters, Michelle O'Kelley and Angela Gable; grandchildren, Conchetta Gable, Ricky Gable, and Cory Gable; sister, Betty Jo Carpenter; brother, Donnie Jo Carpenter; and 10 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Louie and Betty Carpenter; brother, Wayne Carpenter; and sister, Martha Carpenter.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
