Douglas A. Day, 46, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Mansell Day of Red Bay, Ala.; his parents, Jerry C. and Peggy Day of Tishomingo; his grandparents, Hubert and Berna Day of Golden; three sons, James T. Day and wife, Sandy, of Plantersville, Michael J. Day of Tishomingo and Douglas Errin Day of Red Bay; one daughter, Carrie Day Seahorn and husband, Chris, of Red Bay; one brother, David L. Day and wife, Gwen, of Tishomingo; one sister, LInda Day Thoren and husband, Craig, of Mountain Home, Ark.; two grandchildren, Dallas Ashlyn Day and Alice Elizabeth Seahorn; special nephews Scotty Young and wife, Rachel, of Tishomingo, Jeremiah Partee and wife, Rachel, and Casey Thoren, all of Mountain Home, Ark., Chase Partee, Lance Mansell and Patrick Mansell; special nieces, Ashley Mansell and Shara Allison; and a special cousin, Thomas E. Day Jr.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
Louise Mildred Smith

Louise Mildred Smith, 94, of Russellville, died Nov. 19 at National Health Care in Moulton.
She was a lifetime resident of this area and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Leighton.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Leighton. The body will lie in state prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Thomas Thornton, Bro. Sam Wallace and Bro. Bobby Amos. Burial will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Harold Wayman Smith, of Hatton; daughter, Carolyn Smith Berryman and husband, Gilbert, of the OId Bethel Community; sister, Annie Lee Smith, of Mt. Hope; brother, Eldon Smith, of Dearborn, Mich.; grandchildren, Jerry Berryman and wife, Dianne, Glenda Garrett and husband, Joe, Tina Lane, Kristi Gresham and husband, Cade, Brandon Smith, Bradley Smith; five great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Montie Ellis Smith; brothers, James, Neil, Harland, Clark and Lester Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund or your favorite charity.
Mary Durant Wheeler

Mary Durant Wheeler, 73, of Russellville, died Nov. 17.
Funeral services were held Nov. 20 at Akins Funeral Home with burial following in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Rev. Rick Oberheide officiated.
Survivors include her sons, William Durant, of Meridian, Miss., Herbie Durant and wife, Lorie, of Meridian, Miss.; daughters, Jacquelin D. Marsh and husband, Chuck, of Trophy Club, Texas; sisters, Judy Morgan and husband, Stewart, of Baton Rouge, La.; grandchildren, Cameron marsh, Rachel Marsh, of Trophy Club, Texas; Mariner Durant and Liam Durant, of Meridian, Miss.; three stepsons and one stepdaughter, three step-granddaughters and one step-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Lee Vinze and husbands, Dr. Guy Durant and Bill Wheeler.
Pallbearers were Cameran marsh, Mariner Durant, Bill Self, Tinker Malone, Lanny Norris and Terry Moore.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Ruby Gladys Hester
Ruby Gladys Hester, 79, of Downers Grove, Ill., formerly of Franklin County, beloved wife for 56 years to the late Cranford Oneal Hester, loving mother of Randall (Connie) Hester, Lorinda (Raymond) Kuzelis and Rodney (Chris) Hester, cherished grandmother, of Daniel Michael, Travis and Tyler Hester, devoted great-grandmother of three, dear sister of Catherine Isom; Myrtle Guinn and Daniel (Sarah) Fuller.
Funeral services were held Nov. 20 at Toon Funeral Home with burial following at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
Nell Gaye Faulkner

Nell Gaye Faulkner, 62, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15.
Funeral services were held Nov. 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Loyd Griffs and Bro. Jerry Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Orange Baptist Church.
She is survived be her husband, James E. Faulkner; sons, James E. Faulkner, Jr.; Michael Faulkner and Jacob S. Faulkner; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Peggy Ruth Wilson

Peggy Ruth Wilson, age 71, Russellville, Alabama passed away Monday, November 19, 2007 at Russellville Hospital.
Mrs. Wilson lived all her life in Franklin County and was a member of the Church of Christ.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 21, 2007, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with George Hutto officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
She is survived by husband, Melvin F." Buster" Wilson, Russellville, Alabama; children, David Frank Wilson, Hawaii, Carolyn Sue Parks, Sringfield, Illinois, Sheree Lynn Berryman and husband, Danny, Russellville, Alabama, Jennifer Kay Mills and husband, Doug, Severville, Tennessee, Nancy Steien, Russellville, Alabama, Mary Catherine Haney and husband, Chris, Florence, Alabama, Timothy Boyd Wilson, Russellville, Alabama, Jonathan Andrew Wilson, Severville, Tennessee, Phillip Mark Wilson;, Russellville, Alabama; sister, Brenda Vandiver, Russellville, Alabama; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be T. J. Wilson, Andrew Isbell, Matthew Mills, Micah Mills, Justin Parks, Derek Parks.
Honorary bearers will be George Humphries and Edward Vandiver.
She was preceded in death by parents Boyd and Cleo Flippo; daughter,Peggy Darlene Wilson; sister, Dorothy Flippo; brother, Boyd Flippo, Jr.
