Citizens holding class to promote banking over 50

With the uncertainty of Social Security and life expectancy growing each year, financial strains continue to grow as we age and leave to work force.
In an effort to help educate those who are approaching or already settled into their retirement years, Citizens Bank is offering a one day course on how to arrange your finances for a long and prosperous retirement.
The seminar, which will be held Sept. 27, is designed to help those over 50 years of age protect their assets into their Golden Years.
Citizens' Terri Wells said the seminar, the first of its kind hosted by Citizens, was in response to customer feedback asking for more information on the subjects set to be discussed.
The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Russellville Hotel and Suites. Lunch will be served and those interested in attending are asked to call Wells at 332-1710 ex. 8676 or Carnelia Dean ex. 2601 no later than Tuesday, Sept. 25.

9 a.m. – Welcome
9:15 a.m. – 10 a.m. – Financial and Estate Planning, presented by Randal Paseur
10 – 10:15 a.m. – Break
10:15 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Long Term Care, presented by John Schuessler
11 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. – Break
11:15 a.m. – noon – Social Security Issues, presented by a Representative from the Social Security Administration
Noon to 12:45 p.m. – Lunch
12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. – Identity Theft, presented by Marty Ramage of Renasant Bank
