Jesse B. Herbster

Jesse B. Herbster, 64, of Russellville, passed away Sept. 12, 2007. He was born January 12, 1943 in Ohio to George and Myrtle McDougal Herbster. He was a barber for 37 years, a Mason and a Shriner.
Funeral Services will take place today, Sept. 16, at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church at 3 p.m. with Bro. Mark McCraney. The body will lie is state from 2 to 3 p.m.
Burial will follow at Bolton Cemetery.
Survivors include his children, Sherrill (Tim) Butz, Edward (Denise) Herbster, all of Russellville, Dawn (Jackie) Young, of Colorado, Nathan (Tonya) Herbster, of Town Creek, Paul (Michelle) Herbster, of Curtis, Ohio and Robin (Kerri) of Killen; brother, George (Cecil) Herbster, of Arizona; two sisters, Marian Terry of Florida and Helen Herbster of Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robin Herbster, Paul Herbster, Nathan Herbster, Edward Herbster, Ronnie Schutt and Michael Butz.
Starnes Leborn Hall

Starnes Leborn Hall, 88, of Florence, died September 14, 2007. Akins Funeral Home will announce funeral services later.
Burial will take place at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg.
James R. Bragwell
September 12, 2007
James R. Bragwell, 45, of Russellville passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007.
He was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a truck driver for Barry Oliver Trucking.
Funeral services will be held today, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with Mark Smith and Mike Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
Visitation will be held today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include daughters, Meghan and Katleyn Bragwell, both of Decatur; mother, Nell Frazier, of Decatur; grandparents, Christine Duggar, of Russellville and Eugene "Piney" Bragwell of Russellville; brother, Shannon James, of Bell Buckle, Tenn.; sister, Cindy Sutton of Russellville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Bragwell; grandparents, Cecil Duggar and Evelyn Bragwell.
Floree Arnold

Floree Arnold, 90, of Russellville passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at her home.
Visitation will be held today, Sept. 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 17 with Bro. Eddie Caskey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Alex Sanford, Leonard Sanford, George Humphries, Wayne Hester and Bobby Robinson.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Arnold; daughter, Cindy (Leonard) Sanford of Birmingham and Jenny Gray of Huntsville; grandchildren, Constance Gray, Cortney Sanford, Alex Sanford; a special niece, Karla Haws and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, JH Thurman; parents, Homer and Mattie Gowan Wheeler; three sisters and two brothers.
She was a member of Russellville Church of Christ. Special thanks to Karla Haws, her niece for her countless hours of support and love during the turbulent times of the past few months. She is a living reminder of all the qualities we loved in Floree.
