By By Kim West
The Phil Campbell Booster Club met Monday night to elect new officers and discuss the football program.
Thomas Thompson (president), Teresa Masterson (vice-president) and Alice Brown (secretary-treasurer) will serve as officers for the 2007-08 school year.
The main topic of the meeting was the football program. Members were assigned businesses and individuals to contact about the renewal of ads for the program. The price of ads in this year's program are $50 (quarter-page), $75 (half-page) and $100 (full page).
To purchase advertising in the 2007 Phil Campbell Football Program, contact Teresa Masterson at 810-0448 or Alice Brown at 810-0949. The deadline for purchasing ads is Monday, Aug. 20.
The purpose of the club is to support and encourage the student-athletes at Phil Campbell High School.
Membership is open to everyone, and all Phil Campbell alumni are encouraged to join the Bobcats in kicking off the season at Haleyville on Friday, August 31.
A yearly donation of $10 per person or $20 per family will allow your name to be printed on the Bobcat Booster Fan page in the football program to be sold at each home game.
Please mail your payment to: Alice Brown, PCHS Booster Club Secretary, 776 Sandusky Road, Phil Campbell, AL 35581. Please include your name or business name, and telephone number, and make checks payable to the PCHS Booster Club.
