Ruby Jean Scott King
June 9, 2007
Ruby Jean Scott King, 53, of Russellville died June 9, 2007.
She was a native of Franklin County, and a volunteer at the Faith Mission Outreach in Russellville.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 11, 2007 at Mt. Home Presbyterian Church. Pastor Matthew Mangino officiated. Burial followed in the Mt. Home Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Her nephews served as pallbearers.
Survivors include one son, Nicholas King of Russellville; a daughter, Kelli King Watson of Russellville; two sisters, Margaret Ann Miller of Decatur, and Maxine Boyd of Belmont, MS and her husband Ray; four brothers, Roy Scott and wife Deborah of Belgreen, James Scott of Florence, Robert Scott and wife Brenda of Muscle Shoals, and Randall Scott and wife Felisha of Sheffield; and one grandchild, Kaydence Marie Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Hazel Scott; one daughter, Misty Dawn Hatton; a son, Elton Ray King, Jr.; and a brother, Troy O'Neal Scott.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
Selma Turner Gibbs
June 10, 2007
Selma Turner Gibbs, 74, died June 10, 2007.
She was born April 27, 1933 in Newman, Illinois, and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Haleyville, and Corinth Heights Baptist Church, Haleyville. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held June 13 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville with Bro. John Simmons officiating. Burial followed at Altoona Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, James Mack Gibbs and his wife Linda, Jamie L. Palmer, Turner Ellis Gibbs and his wife Teresa, and David A. Gibbs; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Gibbs, and her brother, John David Turner.
Tina Ann Hall
June 12, 2007
Tina Ann Hall, 39, of Auburn Kentucky died June 12, 2007 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born April 16, 1968 in Russellville, and was a member of New Zion Ministries in Moulton. She also attended Hill View Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She worked for Toyo Automotive as a Team Leader.
Funeral services are today at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home in Moulton. Virgil Calhoun will officiate. Interment will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, L.V. Hall of Auburn, Kentucky; her parents, Raymond Brewer and Betty White Brewer of Moulton; two sons, Eric Hall of Moulton and Cody Hall of Auburn, Kentucky; two daughters, LaShea Cross of Moulton and Brianna Terry of Auburn, Kentucky; two brothers, Dale Brewer of Decatur and Jamie Brewer of Town Creek; two sisters, Amy Harville of Moulton and Patricia Ann Behmlander of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and a grandmother, Ollie Brewer of Moulton.
Pallbearers include Randy Behmlander, Josh Terry, Joey Cross, Chad Brewer, Michael McGowan, and Ken Turner.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Gilbert Brewer; her grandmother, Izora White; and her grandfather Tom White.
Oscar Clay Hargett (Cotton)
June 13, 2007
Oscar Clay Hargett (Cotton), age 68, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007.
The visitation will be held tonight from 6-9 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow, with Bro. Stanley Hargett officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Estelle Green Hargett; sister, Mae Wilson; and a brother, Junior Hargett.
He is survived by this wife, JoAnn Pierce Hargett; sons, Roger Hargett, Jeff Hargett, Scott Hargett and his wife Angela, and Kevin Hargett and his wife, Kim; daughters, Tereisa Burcham and her husband, William, and Cindy Scott; sister, Joy Puckett; brother Stanley Hargett and his wife Carol, and Johnny Hargett and his wife, Jane; stepchildren, Deborah Woodard, John Cook, Stephen Cook, Jason Brown, and Lisa Beckerstaff.
The family expresses their thanks and appreciation to Good Samaritan Hospice, especially Lori Pace, Karen Garcia and Holly, Dr. Keith Morrow, Spry Memorial Chapel and staff, and residents of Village Square Apartments.

Inas M. Prince

Inas M. Prince, 83, of Russellville died June 14, 2007. She was a native of Russellville. She was a homemaker, and a member of East Side Church of Christ of Russellville.
Visitation will be held today from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Johnny Richard officiating. Interment will take place at Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Vandiver Hollow.
Survivors include sons George Treadway of Russellville, and Larry E. Treadway and his wife Sheila Martin Treadway of Poplarville; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Minnie Tollison; husbands Howard S. Treadway, Dewey Zills, and Paul Prince; brothers Lloyd Tollison, Troy Tollison, Earon Tollison, and Hoyt Tollison; and sister Autrey Zills.
