RHS Show Choir did a great job

By Staff
The RHS Show Choir entertained their audience with a show stopping performance of patriotic, country, pop and show tunes during their spring concert held Monday night.
The choir performed 20 selections, including solos from several choir members. The choir proved to be enthusiastic entertainers through out the concert.
The audience really seemed to enjoy the performances, which were outstanding. This show was put together in one week, but you could not tell it from the audience.
Their pieces were fun and filled with excitement, and the show's choreography added to that excitement.
The members of the RHS Show Choir are very talented and worked very hard to perform for the public, their peers and their families. While preparing for such performances is considered work, these students enjoyed the time practicing, and learning the routines to get it right for their audience.
The choir unexpectedly lost their director when he had to take time off suddenly, leaving the choir in limbo. Fortunately, Patti Kimbrough decided to come out of retirement to help these students put on this show for our community. Kimbrough's willingness to come out of retirement just to help these kids shows her love and dedication to the students and the program, and for that we say, thanks. To her students who put their hearts and souls, along with blood, sweat and tears, into the performance we say congratulations to a wonderful, entertaining show. You should all be proud of your performance, you accomplishments, and most importantly your school who has taught you to enhance your talent and embrace your futures.
