Russellville Police are searching for those responsible for a theft involving a truck stolen from Food Land parking lot.
The 1999 GMC Sonoma was reported stolen Friday night.
The owner parked the truck in the parking lot around 2 p.m. Friday, and it was gone when he returned at 9 p.m. that night, Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said.
"A Honda air compressor and a Craftsman tool box with tools inside were in the back of the truck at the time it was taken," Hargett added. Russellville Police received a call from a resident in the Pogo Community located on County Road 96 where they found the truck smashed into a gate, damaged and burned.
The air compressor and toolbox were missing from the truck when police recovered it. Anyone with any information should contact the Russellville Police at 332-2230.
