One injured in car versus bike collision

Quad Cities State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a Russellville police cruiser, which occurred on Waterloo Road in Russellville.
The accident happened at around 3:30 Monday afternoon. A 2006 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Tony McKinney of Russellville, and a 2005 Ford driven by a Russellville police officer were involved in the accident, Troopers said.
McKinney was injured in the accident but was treated for his injuries and released. There were no other injuries reported.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, Trooper said.
