Let Easter be a catalyst for church goers

It's a sad but mostly true fact that there are basically two days of the year where it's standing room only at church: Christmas and Easter.
Some people use Sundays to sleep late, catch up on yard work, watch a ball game and relax.
But should one of Christianity's most important days of observance come along, it's like someone flips a switch.
While it is important to recognize Jesus on these two days – after all they are specifically tied to His birth and resurrection – it is also important not to forget about Him every other day of the year.
If Easter and Christmas are what it takes to get you to attend church, then so be it. That one faithful day, you may be touched or moved in a way that will turn you into a familiar face in the House of the Lord.
But we encourage each of you to attend the church of your choice each Sunday and this Sunday would be a great time to make that change.
Pile up in your car with your family and go to a church together to meet your church family. After it's over, go home, hide some Easter eggs and have dinner with your loved ones.
Monday comes and you'll hurry back off to work but in six more days you'll have another choice to make: Sleep late or go to church? You won't have Easter to help push you out of bed, you'll have to do it yourself because you know it's the right thing to do.
