Belgreen, Phil Campbell girls set to renew rivalry

If Thursday night's girls basketball game between Belgreen and Phil Campbell is anywhere near as exciting as last year's meetings between the two county rivals, then it will be well worth the price of admission.
The Lady Bobcats beat Belgreen four times last year, but two of those games went to overtime and the other two were close as well.
The Lady Bulldogs, fresh off a 52-33 win over Tharptown in last Thursday's season-opener, will be looking for revenge when they host Phil Campbell tomorrow night.
The Lady Bobcats opened their season on Tuesday night at Haleyville.
Belgreen's boys will be hoping Thursday to build off their season-opener, in which they defeated Tharptown 56-35.
The Bulldogs trailed by three at halftime before out-scoring the Wildcats 42-18 in the second half.
Phil Campbell's boys opened their season with a game at Haleyville on Tuesday night.
Both Phil Campbell and Belgreen will be back in action on Friday night as well.
The Bobcats will pay a visit to Phillips, while the Bulldogs will play at Waterloo.
