Matthew Alan Finley, age 22, of Haleyville, passed away Monday, March 21, 2005, at his home.
Mr. Finley was a 2001 graduate of Lynn High School, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He was selected to the 2001 North-South All-Star football team. He also belonged to the Scholar's Bowl and was a class officer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Haleyville and was employed as a welder at Fontaine Trailer. Mr. Finley was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Hubert Finley, Jr.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Haleyville with Dr. Jim Cooley and Dr. T.B. Stringfellow officiating. Interment was in Littleville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Christopher Finley, Patrick Finley, John Cox, Bailey Berlin, Brad Bennet and Kyle Bennet.
Mr. Finley is survived by his parents, Mark and Terri Finley of Haleyville; two sisters, Molly Kate Finley and Maggie Elizabeth Finley, both of Haleyville; his grandparents, Sarah C. Finley of Haleyville, and Larry and Wanda Yancey, of Haleyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, make contributions to the Matthew Alan Finley Scholarship Fund at Lynn High School, 531 East Main St., Lynn, Alabama 35575.

Ada R. Streetman March 21, 2005
Ada R. Streetman, age 95, of Hodges, passed away Monday, March 21, 2005.
Mrs. Streetman was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a member of Hodges Convention Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Streetman, Sr.; her parents, Francis Marion and Melvina Cleveland Oliver; two sons, Thomas and M.D. Streetman; four brothers, Newman, Yancy, Theo and Waymon Oliver; and a daughter, Virginia Maxine West.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the Hodges Convention Baptist Church with Bro. Kent Walker officiating. Interment was in Old Line Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Johny Baker, Terry West, Eddie Britton, Mike Watts, Scott Streetman and Jeremy Streetman. Honorary bearers were Darryl Streetman, Chad Streetman, Tim Morgan and Joey Streetman.
Mrs. Streetman is survived by three daughters, Mavianea Baker of Hodges, Ruby Britton of Belgreen, and Barbara Watts and husband Kenneth, of Hamilton; four sons, Buster Streetman of Chickasaw, Jack Streetman and wife Doris, of Russellville, Douglas Streetman and wife DeLores of Phil Campbell, and Dwight Streetman and wife Vangie, of Hamilton; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and a host of several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Morrow and the staff at Terrace Manor.

Jeff Winsted March 22, 2005
Jeff Winsted, age 92, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005.
Mr. Winsted was a native of Franklin County and a member of Crooked Oak Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Ruby Winsted; his parents, John W. and Julie Ann Winsted; three sisters; three brothers; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2005, in Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Grady Parrish and Bro. James McCullar officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Walt Seymoor, James Moomaw, Charles Agee, Luke Britnell, Ryan Kee, and Craig Bryson.
Mr. Winsted is survived by his wife, Myrtle Winsted; a son, James H. Winsted and wife Dot, of Tuscumbia; a daughter, Elsie Moomaw and husband Edward, of Russellville; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two step-children, Mary Frances Parrish and husband Grady, of Russellville, and Derwood Hyatt and wife Betty, of Groveland, Florida; six step-grandchildren; sixteen step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
