Newton High and Northeast Lauderdale High School Marching Bands are expected to be at Bonita Lakes Mall today for the 4th Annual Santa Arrival Parade.
Santa Claus will arrive by a parade today. Spectators should be in place no later than 5:30 p.m. to get a good view.
The parade route includes the inner ring road of the mall the road that goes right next to the mall. Line up begins in the Goody's parking lot area and will head east around McRae's.
After circling the entire mall, parade participants will unload at the Center Court entrance on the back side of the mall. Santa and friends will then make their way to the Santa set in the J.C. Penney-McRae's Court.
In addition to the two marching bands, the parade will feature floats and entries from numerous mall retailers, community partners and other groups.
Santa will be available for visits immediately following the arrival and will remain at the mall through Dec. 24. Visits to Santa are free. Photos are available for a fee.
