Robbie and Nellie DuBose of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Dawn, to Alan Miquel Raine, son of Joycelyn Mallory of Meridian and George Norwood of Sweetwater, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Freedom Rock Christian Fellowship Church.
Miss DuBose is the granddaughter of the late Willie and Corine Davis of Meridian, and the late Nida Mae Hatcher of Cincinnati.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and attended Meridian Community College. She is employed by Advance Billing Service.
Mr. Raine is the grandson of Johnnie L. Rivers and the late Clinton Armstead of Grovehill, Ala., and the late Tony and Lillie Norwood of Sweetwater.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarke County High School and attended Auburn University at Montgomery. While attending AUM, he was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Inc.
Mr. Raine is employed by Nissan North America.
A reception will be held at a later date.
