Cooley, Jones

Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Cooley of Pachuta announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Renee, to Douglas Leon Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas H. Jones of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Cooley is the granddaughter of Sammie Lovitt of Pachuta and the late George Washington Lovitt, and Orville Forest Cooley of Pachuta and the late Irene Cooley.
The bride-elect was valedictorian of Enterprise High School. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in education.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor society, International Golden Key Honor Society and the Mississippi Association of Educators (MAE).
Miss Cooley is employed by Quitman Junior High School.
Mr. Jones is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie D. Foreman of Collinsville, and Elaine Jones of Meridian and the late Harold T. Jones.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lamar School and received an associate's degree in forestry from East Mississippi Community College. He also attended Mississippi State University.
Mr. Jones is self-employed with Doug Jones and Son Construction Co. Inc. in Meridian.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
