Mr. and Mrs. John W. Smith of Toomsuba announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacy Elizabeth, to Kirk Harris Kelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Kelly of Gardendale, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Toomsuba Baptist Church.
Miss Smith is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Edward Smith of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coker of Toomsuba.
The bride-elect is a 2004 cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama, where she received a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Miss Smith is employed by University of Alabama Birmingham Medical Center.
Mr. Kelly is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willis W. Harris of Troy, Ala., and the late Willard Kelly of Cullman, Ala.
The bridegroom-elect is a 2003 graduate of the University of Alabama, where he received a bachelor's degree in business management.
Mr. Kelly is employed with Birmingham Water Solutions.
