Braddock, Mason

Mrs. Dewitt Talmadge Braddock of Tupelo, formerly of Meridian, announces the engagement of her daughter, Leighton Mims, to Robert Stephen Mason, son of the Honorable Judge Jerry and Mrs. Mason of Meridian. Miss Braddock is also the daughter of the late Mr. Braddock.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at 7 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church.
Miss Braddock is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dewitt Talmadge Braddock Jr. of Ripley, and the late Mr. and Mrs. B. Frank Watkins of Summit.
The bride-elect is an honors graduate of Meridian High School and received a degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Chi Omega sorority.
Miss Braddock is assistant manager of the Oxford Tourism Council and director of communications for the Public Relations Associates of Mississippi's Oxford Chapter.
Mr. Mason is the grandson of Dorothy Thompson Coats of Meridian and the late Robert Earl Coats and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Miller Mason of West Point.
The bridegroom-elect is an honors graduate of Meridian High School and received a degree in management information systems from the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Mr. Mason is employed by FNC Inc. as system administrator in Oxford.
A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club in Meridian following the ceremony.
