Courtney Leigh Pace of Meridian and Radal Clay Pope of Collinsville were married Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Pine Forest Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Pace, brother of the bride, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pace of Meridian, and Lt. Col. and Mrs. Randy Pope of Collinsville.
Grandparents of the bride are Dorothy Nell Pace of Meridian and the late Kermit Pace, and Grace Alexander of Suqualena and the late J.B. Alexander.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Doris Pope of Cash and the late J.E. Pope, and Bill Idom of Morton and the late Evelyn Idom.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Tina Dean, pianist; and Jay Parker, cousin of the bride, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless white satin A-line gown with an asymmetrical back featuring beaded metallic embroidery. The skirt flowed into a semi-cathedral-length train. Her elbow-length veil was edged with pearls and crystal jewels and anchored by a tiara. She carried a bouquet of coral and white roses.
Cady Pace of Meridian attended her sister as maid of honor. B.J. Lucas of Pachuta, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Other attendants were Brittany Mosley and Summer Wiggins, both of Collinsville, and Erica Barnett of Meridian.
Sha Pope of Collinsville, sister of the bridegroom, and McKenna Lucas of Pachuta were flower girls.
Groomsmen and ushers were Mike Sidebottom of Memphis, Tenn., Jerome Pickard and Trent Hughes, both of Meridian, Jayson Kimbrough of Pensacola, Fla., and Paxton Pace of Collinsville.
Bracken Lucas of Pachuta was ring bearer.
Registry attendant was Pam Sidebottom.
A reception was held in the outside garden of Dorothy Nell Pace, grandmother of the bride.
Assisting at the reception were Adelia Luke, Robbie Lawson and Keely Rutledge.
After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Oxford.
