Bankston, Goolsby

Brandie Goolsby of Sebastopol and Ken Bankston of Union were married Saturday, May 22, 2004, at Lucern Congregational Methodist Church with the Revs. John Sharp and Chris Kelly officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Goolsby of Sebastopol, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Joe Bankston of Union.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Eather Goolsby ,and Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher, all of Sebastopol.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Janelle Buntyn of Union and the late Eugene Buntyn, Charlie Thrash of Sebastopol, the late Kenneth Bankston and the late Leta Thrash.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Sharli Moulds, pianist; and Mary Ann Ray, Amanda Bankston and Kelly Bankston, vocalists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a sleeveless diamond white gown featuring silver embroidery on the bodice that swept into a chapel-length train. Her fingertip-length tulle veil was created by her aunt and mother.
Melissa Madden of Union served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Amanda Bankston of Union, Tiffany Goolsby of Sebastopol, Deanna Bankston Rush of Union and Brigette Goolsby of Sebastopol.
Kaitlyn Blaine Goolsby of Sebastopol was flower girl.
The bridegroom's father was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Chris Bankston, Hugh Rush, Chris Ethridge, Chris Milling and Heath Strickland, all of Union, Adam Ray of Georgia and Kyle Bankston of Sebastopol.
Trent Goolsby, son of the bride, and Madison Goss were Bible bearers.
Chandler Rush of Union was ring bearer.
Registrar attendant was Jessica Yates of Sebastopol. Rice bag attendants were Mollie Maples and Edie Riley. Program attendants were Gus Maples, Ben Maples and Newt Riley.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Kathy Goolsby, Cindy Buffington, Erica Griffin, Meghan Moulds, Candance Rushing, Ginger Vance and Jo Lynn Moulds.
After a honeymoon in Tennessee and Georgia, the couple resides in Union.
