Services for Michael Davis will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on 49th Avenue with the Rev. Craig Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Old West Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis, 21, of Meridian, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, in Jones County. He was a Barnhills Country Buffet Restaurant employee.
Survivors include his mother, Marilyn E. Davis of Meridian; sisters, Latonya Michelle Davis and Marquisha Sha'Niece Davis; a brother, Corey J'Brandon Davis; nephews, Brandon Miller and Jaylen Davis and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie "Bill" Davis Sr. and a cousin, Ralph Davis.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Shirley Ledlow Hammond will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Hammond, 68, of Lauderdale, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in Lauderdale.
Survivors include her daughter, Lashanda Sanders and her husband, David, of Clarke County; a son, Wayne Hammond of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters, Myrtle Nelson of Lawrence and Lucille Garrett of Mobile, Ala.; a brother, Travis Ledlow of Decatur; a sister-in-law, Annie Ledlow of Pearl and a grandson, John David Sanders of Clarke County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Charles Hammond; her parents, Otis and Mattie Ledlow and brothers, Barto Ledlow and Cecil Ledlow.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Jessie Mathis, 61, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in his home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Carolyn Stroud Simons, 56, of Decatur, who died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for James L. Culpepper Sr., 78, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Sandra K. Palmer, 61, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for James Edward Garvin, 60, of Newton, who died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in his home.
