Services for Betty J. McKenzie will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at East Baptist Church in Barnett with the Rev. Claude McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McKenzie, 59, of Pachuta, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her sons, Gregory Strickland and his wife, Sandra, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Johnny E. Strickland of Barnett and Timothy McKenzie of Racine, Wis.; brothers, John Strickland of Barnett, Eugene Strickland of Detroit and Willie Ed Strickland of New Orleans.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the church.

Graveside services for Herman J. Flowers were held Monday at 10 a.m. at Blue Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Warren Hedgepeth officiating. Stephens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Flowers, 82, of the Causeyville Community, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
Survivors include his son, Raymond Flowers of Collinsville; and a daughter, Evelyn Fleming of Slidell, La.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Michael "Mike" Breland were held Monday at First Baptist Church of Butler. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Breland, 60, of Butler, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel H. Breland of Butler; daughters, Cheryl Harrison and her husband, Durham, of Columbia, S.C., and Michelle Taylor and her husband, David, of Butler; brothers, Robert Breland of Pine, La., and Bill Breland of West Berlin, N.J.; sisters, Hazel Foqui of Bogaloosa, La., and O'Dene Burgis of Franklinton, La.; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for John T. "J.T." Hammock, 58, formerly of Preston, who died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, in Indiana.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in DeKalb for Robert E. Williams, 79, of Meridian, who died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, in Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Annie B. Clayton, 57, of Lauderdale, who died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, in Lauderdale.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home For Addie Clayton, 87, of Meridian, who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice.
