Art for Every Child'

The Cubby Hole is challenging our community to make a difference in the lives of Meridian's neediest children. Dede Mogollon, co-owner of The Cubby Hole, said her goal for the second year in business is to spark the creativity of young artists.
The result: "Art for Every Child."
The program takes corporate sponsorships, combines them with the sponsorship of The Cubby Hole, and allows children from less privileged circumstances to explore their creativity.
Current children's organizations participating include Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Care Lodge Domestic Violence Shelter, Youth Excitement Team's children of incarcerated parents and Children's Corner Day Care where the families of most children are on public assistance.
Through the donations of Meridian's business leaders, these children will have the opportunity to paint three ceramic projects.
Sponsorship is $25 per child. Sponsorship levels are: Platinum, $1000, sponsors 40 children; Gold, $500, sponsors 20 children; Silver, $250, sponsors 10 children; or Bronze, $100, sponsors four children.
