NEWTON Services for Nell Gibbs Walker will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Rodney Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery,
Mrs. Walker, 73, of Hickory, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Walker Sr. of Hickory; daughters, Donna Whitrock of Williams Port, Ohio and Wanda Strait of Hickory; sons, Curtis Walker Jr. and Jeffray Walker, both of Hickory; sisters, Jean Culpepper of Lawrence, Ann Thompson of Long Beach, Cora Mae Cleveland of Hickory and Joyce McGrew of Lake; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Murlene Weems Gibbs; and a brother, Bub Gibbs.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Vergie Ward will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Ray Files and Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Beat Line Cemetery.
Ms. Ward, 83, of Union, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Neshoba General Hospital.
Survivors include her sisters, Rachel Mayo of Pearl, Mae Dell Hillman of Conehatta, Elinor Hurtt of Union and Bobbie Joiner of Sebastopol; brothers, John William Killens of Carthage, Larry Killens of Walnut Grove and Marshall Killens of St. Helen, Ore.; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial services for Lela Frances Benson Burnett will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating.
Mrs. Burnett, 83, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Samuel D. Burnett of Houston, Texas and a daughter, Billie B. Waldrep of Elgin, Texas; grandchildren, David Ray Burnett, Diana Burnett, Dean Burnett and Megan Rhae Waldrep and nine great-grandchildren.

Services for Oscar Williams will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Roscoe officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Williams, 70, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a special friend, Irena Perryman of Meridian; daughters, Gloria McGill of Waynesboro and Jo Ann Neacsu of Key West, Fla.; a son, Ronnie Richey of Shubuta; a sister, Lena Aaron of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Mack A. Richey of Waynesboro and Joe D. Richey of Cincinnati; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
