Storm relief

Food provided
Workers with the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team and the American Red Cross Key Chapter will be set up through the weekend in the lower parking lot of Rush Foundation Hospital, near the emergency room, providing lunch and dinner for power crews, city and county cleanup crews and citizens who still have no power to cook food.
The service is free. For information, call 485-5151.
Ice available
The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency will
distribute free ice to people without power at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center 1002 Highway 19 South beginning at 9 a.m.
Saturday. The ice will be available until the supply is exhausted; residents will be allowed a limited amount of free ice.
Other sources of ice are available but are not free.
The Ice Plant, 202 Highway 11 South, will be open today from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. for people needing ice to store food. Seven-pound bags of ice are 75 cents and 20-pound bags are $2.
Sparkling Party Ice, 5625 Old Highway 80 West, will sell ice in 20 pound bags for $2. They will be open at 9 a.m. until they run out of ice on Saturday.
