Smith, Stephenson

Frances L. Smith and David A. Stephenson announce their engagement. The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at 6 p.m. at Wyndham Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Louis Morgan of Meridian and the late Jimmy C. Smith of Bailey and Mr. and Mrs. T.I. Stephenson III of Knoxville, Tenn.
Ms. Smith is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Barney L. Smith of Bailey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Miller Woods of Meridian.
The bride-elect, a graduate of West Lauderdale High School, received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Mississippi State University and a juris doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law.
Ms. Smith is employed by Malta and Parrish, PLLP.
Mr. Stephenson is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Nagel of Pittsburg, Pa., and the late Mr. and Mrs. T.I. Stephenson Jr. of Knoxville.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of The Baylor School in Knoxville and received a bachelor's degree in history and political science from Auburn University He received a juris doctorate degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Mr. Stephenson is an attorney in Meridian.
A reception will be held at the hotel following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
