Henderson, Gossett

Alana Chlee Gossett and Gregory Mark Henderson were married on Saturday, July 24, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Meridian with the Rev. David McCoven officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Boykin of Carrollton, Ala., and the late Alan Gossett and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Henderson Sr. of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Mills and Eula Moffett and the late Carlton Moffett, all of Collinsville, and Mr. and Mrs. James Gossett of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. James "Hurdle" Henderson and JoAnn Wagner, all of Meridian, and Jerry Wagner of Blackwater.
Given in marriage by her brother, Justin Gossett, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown featuring a beaded bodice. The skirt flowed into a chapel-length train. For her headpiece, she wore a tiara of crystals and pearls and carried a hand-tied bouquet of white calla lilies.
Kelly Leigh Evans was maid of honor. Amanda Hime Henderson, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Krystal Leigh Knight, Kimberly Brooke Newell, Kristin Cole Watson and Deshae Jamie Mouton.
Flower girl was Kristen Danielle Henderson, niece of the bridegroom.
Michael Bryan Rose served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Glenn Albert Henderson Jr., brother of the bridegroom, Larry Beall, Joseph H. Hime III, Jamie Grady and Johnathon V. Ash.
Ring bearer was Peyton Jordan Henderson, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in the Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Meridian.
