Cole, Asher

Dr. Anna Louise Cole of Jackson and Dr. Frederick Herlihy Asher of Brandon announce their engagement.
The couple will be married Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in Jackson.
Parents of the couple are Dr. Katherine Payne Cole and John Franklin Cole of Hattiesburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Curtis Asher Sr. of Bay St. Louis.
Dr. Cole is the granddaughter of Edith McDaniel Payne and the late Robert Emmitt Payne Sr., formerly of Lauderdale, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeptha Newton Cole of Hattiesburg.
The bride-elect, a 1995 graduate of Oak Grove High School, is a 1999 graduate of Yale University and a 2004 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.
Dr. Cole is currently in her first year of residency at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Dr. Asher is the grandson of Curtis Alphonse Asher and the late Louella Hose Asher and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Leonard Herlihy, all of Bay St. Louis.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1993 graduate of Saint Stanislaus College, a 1998 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and a 2002 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.
Dr. Asher is in his final year of residency at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
