Tiffany R. Wilson of Meridian and Germaine Gilkey of Jackson were married Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Roderick Steele officiating.
Parents of the couple are Willie David and Earnestine Wilson of Meridian and Chervilie Gilkey of Jackson. Grandparents of the bride are Vonzie Ree Odom and the late Willie G. and Irene Wilson. Grandparent of the bridegroom is Daisy Gilkey.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Janelle and Michelle Coleman with an interpretive dance performed by Brittanye Kelly.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with a chapel-length train. The dress featured long chiffon bell sleeves with an A-line skirt and was accented with hand sewn pearls and sequins.
Shanell Watson of Jackson served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Krishna Cole and Tabitha Wilson, both of Meridian, and Jackie Harris of Jackson.
Au'zyunna Lewis of Meridian was flower girl.
Africano Stapleton of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Joseph Brown and Terry Vaughn of Jackson, Zanah McCune of Denver, Colo., Gavin Mitchell and Reauze Cole of Meridian.
Program attendants were Torie Glover, Shelley Brown and Jamie Cunningham. Eris Jordan assisted at the wedding.
A reception was held at Quality Inn following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Brandon.
