American Revolution seminar
scheduled for Tuesday at MCC

The Patrick Boggan Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution, in cooperation with Veterans for Accurate History and Meridian Community College, will host a seminar on "Lessons Learned from the American Revolution," at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The seminar will be held in the Dulaney Room of the Webb Center at MCC.
Judge Thomas E. Lawrence, president of the Carrington Chapter of SAR, will be the guest speaker. He plans to discuss the reasons why it is important to study the Revolutionary War and the founding of the country. He also will demonstrate how the Revolutionary War remains relevant and critical today.
Registration for the entire seminar is $10. Seminars also will be held the second Tuesday of October, November, January, February and April. Refreshments will be served at 9:30. The public is invited to attend.
