Giants must move slowly with Manning

Steve Nelson has a plan. Don't ever doubt that.
The Northeast Lauderdale High School head football coach has several things he is looking to achieve when his Trojans play host to a pair of Class 3A teams in the NEL Jamboree tonight at 6.
Nelson also wants to keep his team as healthy as possible.
The Trojans kick things off against Morton at 6 p.m. Each of the three games will be two quarters of football.
The second half' of football will be between Morton and Raleigh at an estimated time of 7 p.m. The last half' will be between Raleigh and NE Lauderdale.
Two freshman who are in the thick of the battle for significant playing time are defensive end Elijah Lee and defensive back Courtney Scott.
Morton has a new head coach in David Barker, while veteran head man Durwood Anderson will be leading the Lions of Raleigh High School.
Morton was 3-7 in Division 5-3A last season after opening the year with wins over Lake and Pelahatchie in non-league contests.
The Panthers lost close games to Newton County (27-21) and West Lauderdale (31-30) which kept them out of the playoffs.
Raleigh lost just four games last year, but they were all division games which kept the Lions out of the playoffs in 2004.
