Sistrunk, Thomas

Drs. Gary and Kim Benton of Hickory, and Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Sistrunk of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Michelle Sistrunk, to Tyler David Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Thomas of Chunky.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 10, 2004, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Newton.
Miss Sistrunk is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Miller of Hickory, Jewel Sistrunk of Meridian and the late James Sistrunk.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School and Meridian Community College. She is pursuing a degree in elementary education at Mississippi State University.
Miss Sistrunk is employed by Meridian Public School District.
Mr. Thomas is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Coker of Meridian, Louise Thomas of Meridian and the late Ernie Towne and A.D. Thomas.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School and East Central Community College, where he was a member of the soccer team. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Thomas is a professional healthcare representative with First Horizon Pharmaceuticals.
A reception will be held at the Newton Depot following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
